Calculations for Fire safety

For some buildings it may be advantageous to make calculations concerning fire safety. These calculations can show conditions which can e.g. give an economic saving during building works or make it possible for the requirements for the building conditions, usage to be fulfilled.

Structural calculations prove the carrying capacity of the load bearing structures and in some cases show that fire insulation will not be necessary.

Evacuation calculations are used to show that the escape routes in the building are acceptable in relation to the geometry of the building and which active fire proofing has been installed.

Furthermore, calculations can be made which show the dimensions of e.g. mechanical fire ventilation.
