The energy consumption used by buildings comprises 40% of Denmark’s total energy consumption. Therefore there is a large environmental and economic potential in saving energy.
Price increases in oil, gas and coal have been a reality for the last five years making it necessary to reduce the energy consumption in buildings. Especially older buildings use a lot of energy on heating.
